- Wellington International
Formerly known as the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center, Wellington International serves as a major hub of equestrian events and facilities in the region. It is one of the biggest equestrian centers in the United States, measuring 500 acres and featuring over 18 competition arenas, including a derby field and an expansive covered stadium.
Wellington International is also the home of two equestrian events: the Winter Equestrian Festival (more about this below) and the ESP Annual Series. On Saturday nights, the center also hums with activity due to their weekly Saturday Night Lights event.
- USPA National Polo Center
Another important landmark in Wellington, the USPA National Polo Center is a world-class facility that’s home to the most prestigious polo events in the country. It is set on a 248-acre property and features a wealth of amenities, which include eight polo fields, a members-only social club, clubhouse, and tennis facilities, just to name a few.
Two of the most important polo tournaments take place at the USPA National Polo Center: the U.S. Open Polo Championships and the National President’s Cup. Both tournaments just recently concluded on April 22, 2024.

- The Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF)
The largest horse-centric event in Wellington, the Winter Equestrian Festival boasts a wide range of equitation, hunting, and jumping competitions, all held over 12 weeks from January to March.
One of the world’s longest-running equestrian sporting events, Wellington’s Winter Equestrian Festival draws in riders from across the U.S. and over 40 other nations, all of whom can compete in junior, adult amateur, and professional riding events with a combined prize value of over $10 million.
- The Adequan Global Dressage Festival (AGDF)
One of the world’s largest dressage circuits, the Adequan Global Dressage Festival is a 12-series competition that draws thousands of attendees annually.
Known for having one of the highest prize pools within the discipline, the Adequan Global Dressage Festival gives more than 1,000 horses and riders from around the world the chance to showcase their skill, athleticism, and technical expertise in the sport, as well as the opportunity to qualify for the FEI World Cup finals.
