The Town of Juno Beach

Juno Beach Lifestyle

The quaint seaside town of Juno Beach is located on a barrier island along the Atlantic coastal ridge and is situated between North Palm Beach and Jupiter. Attracting both year-round and seasonal prospective homebuyers, this charming town and its incomparable Intracoastal Waterway and ocean views, embodies the ideal south Florida beachfront lifestyle.

A collective partnership of Juno Beach businesses, town staff and residents have striven greatly to create a friendly environment that accentuates cultural activities, community and the preservation of its largely unspoiled natural surroundings. In fact, 43% of the land within incorporated Juno Beach is dedicated to protected park-land and environmentally sensitive native flora and fauna which ensures panoramic views and verdant wide-open spaces for residents to enjoy.

Juno BeachSignJuno Beach boasts a wealth of recreational spaces, beautiful parks and lovely walking and biking paths. Residents are particularly fond of the 990 ft. public pier which provides the perfect place for evening strolls, some pier-fishing or simply soak-in the astounding views. The town’s beach-parks are well-appointed and feature basketball courts, bocce ball courts, nature trails, picnic areas, pavilions, playgrounds and swimming areas with lifeguards. The Town Center Walk is also a local favorite and consists of a delightful one-mile paved path around Pelican Lake and its tropical landscaping. Juno Beach residents are especially proud to be the home of the Loggerhead Marinelife Center, a world-class institution devoted to the preservation of endangered Loggerhead Turtles which use local beaches as nesting grounds, as well as serving as a sea turtle hospital.

Nearby North Palm Beach’s bevy of excellent restaurants and shopping are literally 5-minutes away and golf lovers will be thrilled with the multitude of championship-caliber courses and first-rate country clubs in the area. In addition, traveling to and from Juno Beach couldn’t be easier with West Palm Beach International Airport a short 25-minute drive away.

Juno Beach: Past to Present

Incorporated in 1953, Juno Beach was the former seat of Dade County and was named after one of the four original stops on the former rail freight line, known as the “Celestial Railway”. In the latter half of the 1900’s, this line was the primary form of transportation between much of the area and linked northern Florida along the Indian River, to Lake Worth in the south. Juno Beach served as the last stop on the line.

Juno Beach Dog WalkingIn the early 1930’s, E.F. Hutton began construction on the famous Seminole Golf Club, which remains today and is one of the oldest actively played golf courses in south Florida as well as continually rating among the highest-rated golf courses in the country still to this day. The parcels of land surrounding the club began to be purchased by intrepid developers and throughout the late 1940’s to the 1990’s, Juno Beach benefitted from a boom in residential and resort-style properties.

Residences of Juno Beach

Juno Beach is notable not only as a favored vacation spot but also as a permanent place to call home. While primarily featuring upscale condominiums, several extraordinary upscale communities featuring exquisite oceanfront estate-homes are also in Juno Beach. Attractive canal-front homes present affordable home options and the great majority of all Juno Beach residences are within easy walking distance to the town’s incredible beaches.
